With over 17 years of legal expertise, Hazel specializes in mediation and international arbitration, offering unique insights into high-stakes, cross-border disputes.

As the current managing partner of Hui Zhong’s Singapore office, she focuses on China-related disputes, with an emphasis on sectors such as construction, energy and infrastructure. Her extensive experience spans various jurisdictions across Asia, including Singapore, China, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar and Laos.

Hazel has further developed her mediation expertise through her work at the Singapore International Mediation Centre, handling complex cross-border disputes and mediator trainings, and fostering solutions that consider both regional and commercial perspectives. In her role as Counsel at the International Court of Arbitration, International Chamber of Commerce (Singapore), Hazel has also overseen hundreds of arbitrations across the region, strengthening her comprehensive understanding of international dispute resolution in Asia.
