PREVIOUS WORKSHOP PARTICIPANTS’ TESTIMONIALS

This was a very useful workshop where I took away many pointers on how to conduct mediations. The trainers (Aloysius, Marine, Sean, and Samantha) were very effective in highlighting strengths and correcting missteps where necessary, and it was a very comfortable and non-intimidating environment to practice during mediation role plays.- Charlotte Wong
Highly interactive, thought provoking and led by a professional and experienced team.- Colin Yeow
I have done mediation trainings in various jurisdictions. By comparison, the Sage training was particularly substantive and “modern” in the sense that participants were taught innovative techniques and good practices using applied technologies. I particularly valued the detailed, running feedback given over the course of the exercises. I come away from the experience a better mediator.- J.
The workshop struck a very good balance between mini lectures that delivered the theoretical knowledge and real considerations involved in international mediation, and various roleplaying sessions which were perfect in allowing me to quickly put theory into practice. By alternating between being a disputant in a mediation and a mediator for different scenarios, I got to see how different the same matter can be when viewed from different perspectives. The hypothetical scenarios were also very layered which, though challenging to navigate, are more reflective of real-life and thus great for learning and practice.- J.G.
The workshop was highly interactive and structured. The team was extremely professional and made the process and skills of commercial mediation easy to understand, learn and develop. This combined with the anecdotal experiences and 1-to-1 feedback gave me excellent insight on what to expect in real-life commercial mediations. 10/10 would recommend.- Juegan Sundaralingam
